Squash Wales appoint Referee Co-ordinator

12 Dec 2007 Matthew O’Connor has been appointed as Referee Coordinator and will be active in the post from the 15th October 2007.

The post is part of the the Squash Wales Referee Plan and will be responsible for delivering the objectives set out in the plan. The key objective is to increase the number of registered qualified Club Grade referees to improve the general knowledge and standard of refereeing in Wales and assist those already qualified to progress to County and National grade. Matthew will also be co-ordinating the attendance of referees at Premier League matches and National Tournaments and looking to grow the pool of referees available for these events.
