It is important that coaches undertake a first aid course or qualification. Your governing body may be able to provide you with information about accessing a course, however if you are unsure how to obtain a first aid qualification take a look at the links below:

BBC Sports Academy - provides key pointers to coaches. The site provides a link to the BBC Health first aid website which has an online course that explores first aid basics, including caring for children (1-7). There is also links to find classes local to you or to get first aid facts.

St Johns Ambulance Wales - are the largest training provider in Wales and run first aid courses for a variety of groups including sporting organisations.
